The Rolex reference 216570 Explorer II is a timepiece for the explorer who does not let the time of day hinder their sense of adventure. The ref. 216570 has a 42mm stainless steel case that has a monobloc middle case, a solid case back, a sapphire crystal, and a winding crown. The bezel is fixed with a graduated 24-hour etching so an explorer without access to the sun can know if it is daytime or nighttime based on the orange dedicated hand. The dial is white aka the polar dial with a date window, a 24-hour dedicated hand, luminous hour markers, and luminous Mercedes hands. The ref. 216570 is powered by the self-winding 3187 caliber which is chronometer-certified with a power reserve of 48 hours. The case is paired with a stainless-steel oyster bracelet with a fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 100 meters (330 feet).
