A Patek Philippe 18ct rose gold, keyless lever Gondolo open face pocket watch, 1904.

Dial: A perfect white enamel Roman dial signed Patek Philippe & Co Genève with sub second dial signed above Chronometro Gondolo with gold spade hands covered by a mineral glass.

Case: A beautiful 18ct rose gold swiss hallmarked and signed PPCo case with crisp engine turning to the rear and vacant cartouche. The inner cuvette is signed Chronometro Gondolo made for Gondolo & Labouriau Rio De Janeiro.

Movement: An excellent fully signed and jewelled manual wind lever escapement with micrometer regulation and Woolf tooth winding. The movement was patented by Patek on 13th January 1891.

Patek Gondolos were a collection specially made for the famous retailer in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, Gondolo & Labouriau whom Patek enjoyed a strong business relationship between 1872 - 1927.

The piece comes with an Extract of the Archives showing that the watch was made in 1904 and originally sold in December 1904.

This watch would make a fine addition to one's collection.
