A Stunning example of a W10 British Army Issued Seamaster 300 Big Triangle Dive watch
Omega Seamaster 300 British W10 Military With Extract From The Archives Stainless Steel 1967–165.024
We have here a stunning example of the rare British MilitarySeamaster reference 165.024 manufactured circa 1967.

This piece has the bonus of having the Extract From The Archives confirming its British Military provenance dated March 1967.

This example has the correct dial for its movement serial number range, being a Pre 1968 T, that Indicated Tritium being used on the hour plots & hands dial.

These military big Triangle dial Seamasters are highly sought after in vintage collecting. The reference 165.024 was first introduced in 1962. They were commissioned by the British armed forces due to their proven robustness & easy legibility.

The condition of this vintage Seamaster is very good. The case has had a light polish in the past, but still retains strong equal lugs along with the brushed finish to the top edges finely defined. The British Military W10 engraving to the case back are all legible & correspond to the archive extract.

The bezel has no dings or scratches & rotates nicely when used with its original Bakelite insert.

The matte dial has taken on a slightly faded appearance, with the tritium hour plot markers & hands showing a consistent faded colour enhancing the overall appearance of this vintage piece. The correct raised dome Hesalite glass is fitted

The watch comes on a NATO strap that is correct & compatible for its robust fixed spring bars.
