All the Right Angles: The NOMOS Tetra 27
Times change, and so do watches. Well-rounded design in a new, square case. The Tetra 27 is sleek, confident, and a little edgy, too.
Design that Hits Square in the Eye
The classic square Tetra - only smaller, and a touch more feminine. Designed by NOMOS’ in-house creative agency Berlinerblau, the Tetra 27 is a slender model that looks great on delicate wrists. Inside the 27.5 by 27.5 mm square stainless steel case, the white silver-plated dial with Bauhaus numerals and indices is balanced and concise. Glashütte craftsmanship at its finest, only the decentralized seconds dial hints at the complications within.
Sealing everything in place is a glare-proof sapphire glass that’s almost as hard as diamond - almost. Each element of the NOSMOS Tetra 27 has been carefully conceived and worked, right down to the subtle curve of the lugs that make this piece sit perfectly. For the strap, the Berlin based design team use Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan in black. Naturally supple and nearly indestructible, this leather is an upgrade for any wrist.
The Tetra 27 Karat
A more beautiful way to tell time: The classic Tetra 27 - dipped in gold. The combination of clean edges and a considered, modern design looks even better in brushed gold and polished stainless steel. Think well-proportioned cuts and an exquisite figure that flatters the eye and wrist. That’s it. All held in place by a soft velour calf leather strap that will carry this timepiece from moment to moment.
NOMOS Tetra 27 for Doctors Without Borders
Fair, and square. In support of those who keep hearts ticking away, a special edition Tetra 27 for Doctors Without Borders. Owners of this limited edition timepiece help emergency aid reach the four corners of the world. What sets this model apart, besides the black numerals and hands, is the striking red twelve. With a special engraving to “Ärzte ohne Grenzen” on the back, this watch gives new meaning to keeping good time.
Independent at Heart: the NOMOS Tetra 27
Haute horology, inside and out. Independence is at the core of the Tetra 27. All of the calibers at NOMOS Glashütte are developed, refined, and constructed in-house.
The Alpha caliber sets the pace for all Tetra 27 timepieces. As the first movement produced by NOMOS, the Alpha is much more than a caliber - it’s a declaration of independence. Something NOMOS aspires to instill into everything it produces. Resolutely popular since its creation, when fully-wound, this intricate machine will keep on beating for 43 hours.
