Tangente: The award-winning wristwatch that’s ahead of its time, while still providing unbeatable accuracy. Now with a power reserve indicator, the NOMOS Tangente Gangreserve makes sure that there are always enough hours in the day.
Straightforward, confidently stylish, but always level-headed - the Tangente Gangreserve is the embodiment of the archetypal NOMOS wristwatch.
NOMOS doesn’t just create fine watches; their timepieces are made to be worn day in, day out. That’s why every aspect of the Tangente Gangreserve has been designed for perfect legibility - even at a glance. Set against a galvanized, white silver-plated dial, the narrow tempered blue hands point with precision to even Bauhaus numerals and slender indices. Protecting this is a layer of glare-proof sapphire glass. The only thing that outmatches this material in strength is a diamond. A seamless blend of form and function, the NOMOS Gangreserve keeps perfect time, for life.
Finally, to hold this watch securely in place, the designers at Berlinerblau, the NOMOS in-house creative agency, have used Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan leather. Ordered direct from the world-famous leatherworkers in Chicago, nothing feels better or lasts longer. Available in a black or brown, with matching or colored stitching, the NOMOS Gangreserve is the perfect complement to any wrist.
NOMOS wristwatches don’t beguile with smoke and mirrors. They keep complications, well … simple. Located at 6 o’clock, the decentralized seconds dial performs a single, distilled function: perfect timekeeping. That’s what all NOMOS watches do best. Add to this the patented power reserve indicator found at 12 o’clock, and the Tangente Gangreserve is much more than a beautiful timepiece, it’s the embodiment of the NOMOS ethos: practical, well-made, and designed for life.
Awarding-winning simplicity, double the complications. Inside the Tangente Gangreserve is the NOMOS Gamma. This is the NOMOS caliber Alpha, but with one fundamental difference. The patented power reserve indicator lets the owner know when they need to wind their watch and stock up on some extra time: 43 hours - or 2,580 minutes, to be precise. Perfect for those who feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day.
This movement can be found inside every NOMOS Tangente Gangreserve, and can be seen through the sapphire crystal placed in the back. The craftsmen at the NOMOS atelier have mastered techniques from bluing screws and milling plates and bridges, to applying Glashütte sunburst to the ratchet and crown wheels. Held in place by a rhodium-plated three-quarter surface with Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage, the Tangente Gangreserve is a masterpiece from both sides.
