Omega Speedmaster Silver Dial Men's Triple Date reduced Automatic watch + Box

A word of warning to buyers of this watch. Do not buy it if the seller cannot show you the movement photo. Always look for pictures of the movement. As shown here this is 100% authentic Omega Cal 1151 movement, 25 jewels with an impressive 46 power reserve.

Designed to be a less-expensive, smaller, automatic version of the Omega classic Speedmaster Professional ("Moon Watch"), the Speedmaster Reduced has gained fans thanks to the smaller size and different dial. In contrast to the original Speedmaster, it has an automatic movement with wider-spaced sub-dials and Arabic numerals on the dial. Because the movement is (traditionally) modular, the Speedmaster Reduced is thicker than the original Speedmaster Professional, however, and sits higher on the wrist. The smaller case is waterproof to 30m.

This watch has held is value brilliantly. In fact I would say this Silver Triple Dial is a solid investment this model was discontinued for 20 years. Prices of this watches have climbed considerably over the past 12 months. If you was to sell on in the near future I think you cannot lose money. It will make a great watch to pass down to a son / grandson one day.

The Triple Date is ideal for those who like the Day, Date and Month displayed very clearly.

We would call this watch a "all rounder" and will do the job in the office, evening dress use and does not look out of place in a sporty environment.

Will make a nice gift as a new aftermarket box will be included with sale as per pictures.

To summarize this is a versatile, robust and attractive looking watch.

The reasons why used Omega Speedmasters watches are good to buy:

Value/Investment. They hold their value brilliantly and should actually increase in value over the next few years as they become rarer and rarer. Buying a brand new watch is like a car, as soon as it leaves the premises the prices drops by at least 20%.

Size guide for wristbands

1 | Lug width

The lug width is the width of the strap at the end that is attached to the watch. This is the interior distance between the two lugs (horn-like protrusions) on the watch casing. The strap will fit your watch only if the lug width of the watch is the same width as the strap.

2 | Buckle width

The buckle width is the width of the strap at the buckle end. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the width of the original buckle must be identical to the strap width. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.

3 | Strap length

The strap length is the combined length of the short strap side 3A (without buckle) and the long strap side 3B. For metal straps, the length of the strap including the clasp is measured in the closed position.

4 | Strap thickness

Strap thickness is the height of the strap. Many leather straps thin out towards the buckle end, or “taper”. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the strap thickness must match the height of the original buckle. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.
