Description

Patek Philippe 3712/1a-001 in New Old Stock condition.
This is a pristine example of an exceptionally rare watch.
The Ref 3712 Nautilus was introduced for a very short period prior to the launch of the 5712, this watch was sold in 2005.
This example has never been worn; it has spent its entire time in its Patek Philippe numbered delivery box.
The watch is also very complete in that it has its original Certificate of Origin, correct black small box, pusher (still sealed), numbered manilla envelope, numbered swing ticket, plus correct instruction booklet for Ref 3712.
This model was released without much fanfare, when it was replaced a matter of a few months later by the 5712 it definitely had the feeling of something that had been done by mistake.
This watch is also the very desirable earlier 3 red dot version.
If you look closely at the pictures, you will see very slight discolouration on the bezel of the watch, this is due to the watch never having been worn. It is not a fault with the watch just something that can be happens to any metal when it is not used, you will also sometimes see this discoloration on gold watches which have not been used. This can be removed with a simple wash however I prefer to leave it as it shows how crisp this watch is.
Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have regarding this watch .
