2503.30.00 - Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra co-axial chronometer stainless steel wrist watch is available fully serviced. Serviced date: September, 02, 2023 - the time keeping specs are within COSC standards, ie: +6 seconds/ -4 seconds per day. The watch has been brought to full factory spec cleaning, overhaul, re-lubrication of parts etc. to factory standards. The time keeping has been tested on a winder and it keeps excellent time over a 2 day period, so it is being listed for sale through C24.
The watch was first released in 2005, and has a 80,5 Million serial number, ordinarily I wouldn't remind anyone of the service quality or of the pitfalls of early co-axial chronometer training that I have received, sometimes, it benefits both of us, the service done is keeping in line with very strict codes for this 2500 caliber. It needs a lot of perseverance to get it straight, and working perfectly as it should, because when it was first released, they still had it beating at 28,800 BPH. The co-axial tech when it was first implemented, needed a whole workshop load of new jigs and training procedures. Luckily, I have been to the earlier classes, and brought up all what I have learnt to be able to do this service.
(Yes it is also true that the later ones are less difficult than this one, esp the 2500D that came in a later production year, they made Planet Oceans out of that class of caliber) So in retrospect, this caliber deserves some respect. The watch is a 39 mm width case, and has a 7 1/4 inches (sized) bracelet, there is an additional half link provided by the previous owner, who bought it as an afterthought, with that additional half link the watch bracelet size is 7 1/2 inches.
I have enclosed one pic of one of the lugs, which has a small nick, I thought it best to show you it. Otherwise, the watch is altogether very clean, the case has been polished, I try to not do too much polishing of the cases, as polishing does make the watch look pretty and wearable/ but, polishing also takes away material.
The watch box is an Omega period box from the 2005 era. White exteriors and red inner Omega box.
