1971 OMEGA DYNAMIC Vintage Mens Bracelet Watch with Date - Stainless Steel
Gorgeous Original Condition - Interesting & Distinctive - 100% Omega - 1 Year Warranty Created in 1967 by Omega's sales director Robert Forster, the Dynamic is a wonderful example of a true retro style. The clean and functional watch, a considerable success for Omega, possessed a number of designed elements that made it stand out: An ellipse shape with recessed crown determined to be the best geometric shape for the wrist, determined after extensive study Easy to read dial with "time zone" sections. Unicoc case with hermetically sealed crystal water-resistant to a depth of 30m. Available with a stainless steel bracelet or easily interchangeable water-resistant Cor-fam straps According to an Omega advertisement at the time, "The shape of the Omega Dynamic was determined by the anatomy of your wrist; its dial by the workings of your eyes; it strap by the physiology of your skin." Powering the watch is its original Omega caliber 1481 movement with quick-setting date. We are pleased to offer this Mk II Dynamic. The second generation of the watch lasted from 1970 until 1972. It has all of its original parts and presents in gorgeous condition. Its steel case presents as mint with all of its original markings strongly intact. Its untouched original dial is mint - it appears flawless to the naked eye and only has the tiniest bit of aging visible under magnification. Its original bracelet has fairly mild stretch - its finish presents as mint. And its fine, automatic Omega has just been overhauled by a Master Watchamaker. Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance. A more than fifty year old Dynamic that presents like new on the wrist! Please note: An example of this watch resides in the Omega museum, and a published example can be found in Marco Richon's work Omega: A Journey Through Time, 2007, pg. 483.
