I specifically asked not to use UPS before making the purchase, they agreed and I submitted the purchase order which then was amended by the seller to use UPS without mentioning this to me. The company seems to just say "yes" to everything just to get the sale.

EMS is handled by the Japan Post Office, which does not currently ship to Canada. Therefore, your order was shipped using UPS. This should have been explained to you when you placed your order.
