The dealer advertised the watch with a crocodile strap and when it was explained that due to import regulations the strap could not be sent to me I asked for a discount as the strap price here is £260.00. No reply was given and I had to pay for the strap that I did not get and then buy another strap for my customer whose watch had been stolen from me in a robbery. would have been nice to have made some sort of gesture under the circumstances The parcel was sent by Fedex who basically dropped it off, never asked for a signature and had a hole in the box you could put your hand into.

Unbelievable, I asked all detailed questions and pictures, after only I purchased the watch. Later I was informed one strap was not more included and I'll not get any discount. Ending I got refund declaring I refused to purchase changing my mind

very disappointing. i asked explicitly if the watch was in good working conditions and was told yes. when watch arrived, i checked and noticed it was fast by around 10 minutes per day, which is totally unacceptable and definitely not in good working conditions. when i complained to dealer, they only offered to take the watch back. this is not an acceptable option for me because i already paid customs duties which are non-refundable from the government. i mentioned i would have to incur hefty cost to get it serviced at cartier. it would have been nice if the dealer could offer to partly cover the service cost, but unfortunately nothing was offered.

Quite speechless for their replies Worst buying experience so far Not going to deal with them anymore If you buy watches from them with the leather straps removed, make sure you search the three golden bars for fixing straps carefully in the watch box, they won’t mention about that beforehand or you may accidentally throw them away with the packaging.

The item. Was shipped incorrectly. It was held in customs, until more paperwork was provided. There were apparently additional fees that needed to be paid, but I was never notified and eventually the watch was sent back when I finally managed to get it cleared from customs. I have bought watches from Japan before, and never had any issues. My experience was a complete waste of time, and as an added bonus, I got the benefit of being stuck paying all the shipping fees with nothing to show for it. I am highly dissatisfied.

I’ve asked this dealer about sma scratch on the bezel, since the watch was listed as unworn. They assured me that the watch is new with no scratches. The delivered watch had the scratch on the bezel as was visible in the original ad. Very dissapointed in the communication of the products’ condition.

Good prompt responses and follow-up. However, listings are misleading. Since Chrono24 is an international marketplace, it is likely that all watches will be sent overseas. While listings state that exotic skin straps cannot be shipped due to CITES - if so, then listings photos must NOT show the straps - only what is actually included. It is also misleading that straps are wrongly stated as 'leather' and not as exotic skins, like crocodile.
