In order to carry the underwater operations for the naval purposes, Panerai launched its first Radiomir watch in 1936. The watch was meant for crucial navy operations and resistance in the deep waters for a long time. The Radiomir watches had their own drawbacks. The watchmaker introduced the Panerai Luminor series in 1950 which was designed to overcome the fallacies of the Radiomir watches.

Luminor: An Elegant Collection
Carrying a subtle style statement, the timepieces imbibed in the Luminor collection are a perfect choice designed for all the occasions. One such timepiece incorporated in the Luminor lineage is the Luminor Chrono Daylight watch. Featuring high end functions in its store, the timepiece comes in a simple fashion creating a distinctive style statement of its kind.
Crafted with passion, the fine making of the watch is clearly revealed with the style and the features attributed to the watch. The Luminor family is one of the prominent watch collections under the Panerai flagship and the Luminor Chrono Daylight is the other luxury timepiece unveiled to the watchmaking world. The white tones of the hands present a wonderful contrast with the black dial surface of the watch.
Unlike the black dial, the other version of the Luminor Chrono Daylight is also available which has been embellished with a metallic blue dial surface giving a glistening look to the timepiece. The white luminescent markers equally complement the style of the watch making it an exquisite timepiece. Introducing the new line of timepieces, the lately developed watch comes as a fresh gush of air from the brand’s lineage.
Fashioned in a unique pattern, the blue dial surface has been equipped with more hour markers compared to the earlier timepieces in the collection. A steel bracelet has been attached to the wristlet giving it masculine touches. The 12 hour chronograph has been highlighted in the watch adding appeal to its style. With a 44 mm diameter size, the case is made of titanium with high end finishing given to the edges and the outer surface. The Luminor Chrono Daylight houses a Panerai OP XII calibre automatic mechanical movement with water resistance capacity up to 100 meters.
