1968 OMEGA DE VILLE Vintage Mens Cal. 565 Automatic Watch - Stainless Steel
Gorgeous Restored Condition - 1 Year Warranty - 100% Feedback Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage De Ville watches. Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has a pleasing case and royal blue dial. Its monococque - or one-piece - Omega case, which when new achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back measures 34mm in diameter - the same size as a Rolex Date model. Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. With 24 jewels and a quick-setting date, it was the top-tier offering of the famous 500 series and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from the era. It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.7 out of 10. Its case presents as mint. Despite what the photos seem to suggest, all of the detail on the back is fully intact. Its dial has been expertly restored and presents as mint. As part of the restoration the movement has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It continues to run exceptionally strong and very true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position. Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance. For the finishing touch a new leather strap with aftermarket Omega style logo has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Your watch is important to us, and we will take care of it for its lifetime. We provide the best after sale care in the business with an extremely experienced team of four Master Watchmakers all of whom each have over thirty-five years of experience and a large number of parts.
