The Ventura Sparc PX (model W 11 R) is the first automatic digital watch in the world and was introduced in the year 2000. The timepiece developed by Ventura transfers the energy from the automatic system to a permanent one with the help of the so-called micro-generator. battery. Hannes Wettstein was tasked with giving this technology a face; his Sparc PX is a tribute to the very first Ventura watch, designed by Flemming Bo Hansen in 1989. This watch is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art New York and numerous other Museum collections. This model is made of stainless steel with a leather strap and features sapphire glass. The movement is also visible at the back behind sapphire glass. Waterproof tested to a pressure of 30 meters underwater. Time, date with 4-year automatic date, selectable 12 or 24 hour display, case height 42.50 x width 32.50 mm. Also available with a black or brown leather strap.
