Central seconds

First introduced in 1954, the Universal Geneve Polerouter was famously worn by SAS pilots as they flew the Polar route for the first time in the history of commercial air flight, hence the model's name. Designed by the legendary Gerald Genta and manufactured by one of, if not the most respected and influential watch brands, it was simply fated to become a horological icon. And indeed, few designs are as recognizable as the Polerouter's twisted, flowing lungs and thick bezel, and few movements are held in as high a regard as either the bumper caliber 138SS or the later micro-rotor caliber 69.
The model on offer here is a 1960s example with a Gold-capped case and a slightly patinated Gold-colored dial. It is in good condition (given its age) and shows no abnormal signs of wear or loss of gold. The only real problem with it is the overpolished caseback - something rather typical for the model. The movement behind it, the micro-rotor caliber 69, was just serviced by our in-house watchmaker and is keeping good time.
The watch comes outfitted with a quality leather strap, with no boxes or papers.

Covered by a limited warranty of 6 months, starting on the date of purchase. The cover of said warranty is limited to the function, continuous operation and fair timekeeping and it does not cover misuse, neglect, abuse, water damage or any other form of wearer-inflicted damage.

Exchanges are possible - We are willing to consider offers, including ones with additional monetary contribution from either side.
