Description |
For sale is an excellent condition 34mm stainless steel Tudor Advisor. The 10050 is a 98xxxxx serial which dates the production year to 1983. The sale is for the watch only, does not come with its original box or papers. The Tudor features a brushed steel case with the alarm crown at 2 and time crown at 4. The Advisor is mounted on a brushed steel rivet style Oyster bracelet with a folding deployment clasp. The clasp has the “C&I” mark which means it was produced for the US market. The bracelet contains 12 full size links and currently sits comfortably on a 7 inch wrist, but the micro adjustment in the clasp can be moved out about half an inch. The silver dial has developed a very light patina, giving it a hint of a champagne hue, and has a number of very light oxidation spots which are spread pretty consistently across the dial, no areas are any better or worse. The tritium lume on the hands and at the end of the hour markers glow green under a blacklight but have no luminosity left. The movement used in the 10050 is a manual wind calibre 3475. The case and bracelet have not been polished so there are a number of very light scratches, but the acrylic crystal is free of scratches, the bevels are crisp and case shape is all original; the watch is super clean overall and the alarm rings/buzzes nice and vibrant.
