Description
We are proud to present this stylish Tudor Black Bay Red Unworn watch for sale.
First introduced in 2012, the Black Bay won the Revival Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie in Geneva the following year and has become an iconic collection for the brand. Tudor followed up on this releasing even more Black Bay variants into the market, including but not limited to the&ampBlack Bay Chrono, the Black Bay Bronze for lovers of patina and the Black Bay Dark for those who prefer an all-black case and bracelet.
The piece was commissioned by an authority from the Qatari government, through an authorized dealer within the geography and was produced in very small numbers.
This version the reference 79230R was introduced in 2016 and is set in a polished 41mm round steel case with a striking burgundy/red&ampuni-rotational bezel insert with silver coloured text. The dial is a lovely clean black colour and features large luminous dot hour markers and hands edged in a bronze colour with a ‘snowflake’ hour hand. This is where you see the gilt printing of ‘the state of Qatar’ in English and Arabic. There is a date feature at 3 o’clock and the dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. It is powered by the MT5602 in-house automatic mechanism and is fitted on a riveted steel link bracelet with a folding clasp and safety catch.
Originally purchased in February 2019 and in unworn, stickered condition. This Tudor comes complete with its original inner and out boxes, instruction booklet, swing tag and international warranty card. It is currently under Tudor warranty until August 2022 thanks to the extended warranty.
