Original Tudor Submariner Snowflake Tritium HANDS SET Complete.
The Tritium has turned a lovely creamy color, and is a full set for Tudor Submariners references 9411/0- 94010- 9401/0 etc. etc. etc. It will fit all the later caliber 2784, and 2776 21,600 BPH 25 jewels calibers.
The key to noticing a rare hands set like this is shape, condition, and also it's holes size. The center seconds' hand hole has a slightly larger circumference, this is because from the 1970s Tudor et CIE, decided to up the thickness of their pinions, and the result is a more thicker center seconds hand post. The height of the hands were minuscule, and the hands posts are very thin. Please note the extra beautiful color of the hands set, I have not had a chance to clean up this hands set, because as every collector out there knows- Tudor Submariner Snowflake hands have a very brittle Hour hand, many a collector out there have had their hands luminous compounds drop due to bad handling. So, for this reason, I am leaving it in the condition there, and as you see it. The Tritium is non glowing, 1970s
I used the backdrop of a truly excellent packaging material for hands, I just imported these little containers, and I find them the benchmark in storing hands. The milky white felt pads highlight the Yellow creamy Tritium well, and the little container is padded, under the acrylic top- I put some watchmaker's paper, so the hands are safe for transportation. Scarce part for a Tudor Sub! Only one set of this color is available
