The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust was introduced to the market in 1945, making it one of the brands longest-produced models. With over 70 years on the market, the Datejust also boasts a varied selection of feature sets that include several metal finishes, bezel and bracelet types, dial colours, and case sizes. The ref. 116300 is a larger example of the Datejust that came to market around 2009. The case is 5mm larger than traditional Datejust watches, giving it a contemporary yet very wearable hold on the wrist. Along with the larger case size comes a newer calibre 3136 Perpetual movement with anti-magnetic technology and self-winding. This variation of the 41mm model is also presented in stainless steel, making it a very popular choice among preowned Rolex collectors of all budgets and lifestyles.
