A Daytona served Big Red and rare…
There is a king amongst kings in the vintage Rolex world – the mighty Daytona! More than just a sports chronograph, the Daytona has always been the subject of scholars and has a very strong following amongst collectors. To day we are offering a very rare and special example of a 6265 fitted with a so-called Big Red dial that also has sigma markings at the bottom, either side of the T SWISS T markings. The sigma markings signify that the hour markers are made in 18kt gold. The dial on this watch remains in good and original condition with light patina on the sub dials. The case remains in good condition and the the bezel is also superb. The watch has been fitted with Mk2 pushers. This watch has the additional bonus of coming complete with its original box and papers and is a brilliant proposition for the serious collector. The watch comes on a solid link Oyster bracelet reference 78350 with correct 571 endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘V 10’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
