Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Platinum Novelty Anniversary 'Platona' Edition with Monobloc Middle Case and Screw-Down Case Back with Winding Crown, Chestnut Brown Monobloc Cerachrom Bezel with Engraved Tachymetric Scale Deposited with Platinum via PVD, Glacier Ice-Blue Dial with Chestnut Brown Lacquer Counters and Chromalight Appliques on Hour Markers and Hands, Self-Winding Perpetual Mechanical Chronograph Movement, Platinum Oysterlock Bracelet with Easylink 5mm Comfort Extension, 40mm

The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, integral lugs, and flat brown ceramic-clad bezel engraved with a tachymeter to 400 units per hour are polished/brushed. The dial is Ice Blue with black-rimmed subsidiary dials, luminous yellow gold and black baton hands, and applied faceted gold luminous baton hour index markers. It has a center black sweep chronograph hand, and an outer track with 1/8 seconds. There is a subsidiary constant seconds sub dial at the 6 o'clock position, a 12-hour chronograph register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial at 3 o'clock. It includes the Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It has an integral platinum three-link Oyster bracelet with a double deployant clasp, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The screw-down case back is solid, and there is a Triplock winding crown protected by the crown guard, as well as special screw-down chronometer pushbuttons.

The mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 4130 movement is rhodium-plated, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It has bidirectional self-winding by a perpetual rotor, and a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 44 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating free sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, a Parachrom hairspring, and a hacking seconds mechanism.
