Description

Patek Philippe. A Rare 18ct Gold Centre Second Keyless Lever Open Face Pocket Watch C1920s Made Specially for A & C Feldenheimer Portland Oregon.

Dial: The excellent white enamel dial with Breguet Numerals outer minute track with red Arabic five second interval numerals. The dial signed Patek Philippe & Cie Geneva Switzerland. The rare beautiful rose gold Louis XVI style filigree hands with blued steel centre second hand.

Case: The 18ct yellow gold case with plain polished back opening to reveal the movement. The case is fully signed, hallmarked and numbered.

Movement: The rare and important highly polished fully jewelled nickel finished movement with centre second mechanism on the top plate, wolf's tooth winding, micro regulation and compensated balance. The fully signed Grade A Quality movement also signed with the American retailer's name.

The Retailer A & C Feldenheimer was a prominent Jeweller & Goldsmith located in Southwest Park Av and Washington Street Portland Oregon from 1886-1945. He commissioned special Patek Watches for their exclusive clientele. This watch is rare and important as very few centre second watches were made by Patek.
