The 42.2mm diameter cushion-shaped two-body case, gently curved lugs, and flat octagonal bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is a gradiant of deep blues embossed with the "tropical" world pattern. It has pointed white gold baton hands with luminous inserts, and there is a white luminous center sweep second hand. It includes applied white gold-rimmed luminous white Arabic numeral hour markers, and small luminous white rectangular indices around a perimeter luminous stick minute/seconds scale. There is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. The 8.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. There is a screw down winding crown, a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back. It has a blue tropical vulcanized rubber dive strap with an 18K white gold double folding buckle.

This Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5168G-001 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 324 S C movement. It's rhodium plated with cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 29 jewels, 6 bridges, 213 components, an anti-shock device, a Spiromax balance spring, and the Patek Philippe seal. It has a 21k gold central unidirectional winding rotor with the Calatrava symbol, a Gyromax monometallic balance adjusted for temperature, isochronism, and 5 positions, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
