Description

Gents Patek Philippe Complicated Perpetual Calendar in 18K yellow gold, Ref#3945/2J. On original mesh bracelet with catch clasp, stepped case design, solid snap-on caseback, case diameter 36mm. Self-winding movement with perpetual calendar and moon phases, day, date, month, leap year and am/pm indicators. Silver dial with registers for the day, date, month and moon phases with leap year indicator and bicolored day/night indicator; stick hour markers. Pusher and extract of the archives detailing manufacture in 1986 and sale in August of 1986. Excellent condition. The dial on this reference number is from the same production period as the First Series 3940, with the recessed sunken sub-dials with the print of the day and month around the sub-dial as opposed to being on the flange of the register. This example is extremely rare in that the 3945 are most commonly found with the diagonal design bracelet and are of later production period with the Second or Third Series dials.
