This particular example, a reference 5120J, features a 18kt yellow gold case which measures 35 mm in diameter and a svelte 6.5 mm in thickness. The Clous de Paris aka “hobnail” bezel pattern adds a subtle point of visual intrigue. Powering the watch is Patek Philippe’s in house automatic Caliber 240 movement, which can be viewed through the piece’s sapphire crystal caseback. One of Patek’s flagship movements, the Caliber 240 is stamped with the prestigious Geneva seal – a mark reserved for Geneva-based Swiss movements with only the highest level of decoration and finishing. The piece comes with its original Patek Philippe black alligator strap and 18kt yellow gold pin buckle. It is in excellent pre-owned condition, and is sold as a set with its original papers and a Patek Philippe box that is not original to the watch.
