Panerai’s association with the French freediver Guillaume Néry began in 2019 when they launched the 47mm Panerai Submersible Chrono Guillaume Néry Edition in titanium/blue PAM00982 and the black DLC/titanium PAM00983. The former was limited to just 15 pieces, and all 15 buyers were offered the chance to experience free-diving with Guillaume Néry himself.

2021 is the 70th anniversary of the iconic Luminor and Panerai partnered with their ambassador again introducing our present reference Luminor PAM01122 Guillaume Néry Edition.
This 70pc limited edition comes with an astounding 70-yr warranty.

It is all about innovative elements with this one. The 44mm sandblasted laser sintered titanium case features a rubberised coating applied to both the bezel, the crown and the bridge lever, accentuated convex glass and the dial with a dégradé effect that emulates the shades produced as sunlight filters through the depths of the sea.

On the inside is the in-house Caliber P.9010 automatic movement with an independent hour hand for quick-set, a Gluycdur balance wheel and two mainspring barrels offering a 72hr power reserve.
The caseback includes an engraving depicting the silhouette of Guillaume Néry.
The watch is water-resistant upto 300 meters.

The strap is made from black recycled PET material, with white stitching and a trapezoidal pin buckle. A white rubber technical strap – the very first to feature luminescent Officine Panerai personalisation – is included with the watch, along with a screwdriver to remove the buckle and a box engraved with the signature of Panerai ambassador Guillaume Néry.
