Automatic Oris XXL 645-7529-4064 with calendar and cal Oris 645 in SS
Stainless steel automatic Oris watch with a white round dial, silver tone Arabic numerals for each hour. At 3 o’clock comes the window for the date and the small seconds sub dial at 9 o’clock. The watch has an outer ring marking each day of the week. It is a “Swiss Made” model. The hands are silver tone with “Stick” design. The watch has a screwed Oris crown. It is an exhibition back case with engraving, “Front sapphire crystal – Water resistant 30M – Oris Swiss 7529 – All Stainless Steel – 22 62687”. The watch has an automatic movement with caliber Oris 645 and 27 jewels. The watch has a Oris Genuine-Leather Strap and a stainless-steel buckle.

The company Oris started in 1902 when the Lohner and Nagelin company started producing watches in the town of Holstein. It closed down two years later. Then came Paul Cattin and Georges Christian who succeeded in producing inexpensive pinpallet movements which nevertheless met chronometer standards through careful construction and manufacture. In 1952 an automatic movement with a winding rotor and power reserve indication gained notoriety. In 1966, Oris introduced the first automatic lever movement, the 645 caliber. A wrist-chronograph was launched in 1970 in cooperation with Dubois-Depraz. From 1919 to 1987, Oris has produced almost 97 million watches.
