A word of warning to buyers of this watch. Do not buy it if the seller cannot show you the movement photo. Always look for pictures of the movement. As shown here this is 100% authentic Omega Cal 1151 movement, 25 jewels with an impressive 40 power reserve power reserve.

The Omega Speedmaster 3520.50.00 features a 39mm case, which houses the self-winding caliber 1151. Both dial and bezel insert are black.

A service card of who serviced where and when will be enclosed.

There were a number of Speedmaster Reduced models but these Triple Calendar models were one of the most exciting variations. This particular Omega Speedmaster Day-Date has reference 3520.50 and was introduced in approximately 1996. It is also being referred to as the Speedmaster Mk40 or TDate. The TDate stands for Triple Date of course and Mk40 is a nod to the Mark series watches with their day and date indicators.

People who do not fancy a manual wound Omega Speedmaster Professional had a number of options to buy a Speedmaster with an automatic movement and a sapphire crystal instead. This Speedmaster Day-Date 3520.50 model is one of them.

Those who like a date function on their watches this has is. The "Triple Date" (Day, Month, Date) is very easy to read and work.

This watch has held is value brilliantly. In fact I would say its a fine investment this model is now discontinued. Prices of this watches have climbed considerably over the past 12 months. If you was to sell on in the near future I think you cannot lose money. It will make a great watch to pass down to a son / grandson one day.

I would call this watch a "all rounder" and will do the job in the office, evening dress use and does not look out of place in a sporty environment.

The Omega red box is in very good condition.

We have added a nice new additional strap with the watch along with the tool needed to remove the bracelet. The strap gives this watch another dimension and is naturally nice to change over once in a while.

To summarize this is a versatile, robust and attractive looking watch.

The reasons why used Omega Speedmasters watches are good to buy:

Value/Investment. They hold their value brilliantly and should actually increase in value over the next few years as they become rarer and rarer. Buying a brand new watch is like a car, as soon as it leaves the premises the prices drops by at least 20%.

Size guide for wristbands

1 | Lug width

The lug width is the width of the strap at the end that is attached to the watch. This is the interior distance between the two lugs (horn-like protrusions) on the watch casing. The strap will fit your watch only if the lug width of the watch is the same width as the strap.

2 | Buckle width

The buckle width is the width of the strap at the buckle end. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the width of the original buckle must be identical to the strap width. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.

3 | Strap length

The strap length is the combined length of the short strap side 3A (without buckle) and the long strap side 3B. For metal straps, the length of the strap including the clasp is measured in the closed position.

4 | Strap thickness

Strap thickness is the height of the strap. Many leather straps thin out towards the buckle end, or “taper”. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the strap thickness must match the height of the original buckle. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.
