Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Hesalite Sapphire Stainless Steel "The First Watch Worn on the Moon", Matte Black Dial with Stepped Down Sub-Dials and Luminescent Hour Markers and Hands, Black Bezel with Tachymetric Scale, Small Seconds Sub-Dial, 30-Minute Recorder and 12-Hour Recorder Along with a Central Chronograph Hand, Sapphire Crystal Transparent Exhibition Case Back, Steel Speedmaster Bracelet with Foldover Deployant Buckle. Rare Birth-Year Watch Circa 2000.

The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, lyre lugs, and bracelet are polished/brushed. The dial is black with luminous baton hour markers around a minute/one-fifth seconds perimeter scale, luminous baton hands, and a center sweep chronograph hand with a luminous arrow tip. There are three black subsidiary dials including a constant small seconds register at the 9 o'clock position, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and it has a power reserve of 48-hours at full wind. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. There is a sapphire display back engraved with "FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON" "SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL" the watch has round chronograph pushbuttons, and a screw-down winding crown protected by crown guards.

The mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 1863 movement is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. The Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moon Watch" 3572.50.00 was introduced in 1965, and it became the official watch of the US space program. Edward White wore it on the first spacewalk, and Buzz Aldrin wore it on the moon in 1969.
