NAMED ONE OF WATCHPRO MAGAZINE’S “HOT 100” - THE TOP 100 INFLUENCERS OF THE U.S. WATCH INDUSTRY. HOW CAN WE SERVE YOU?
1969 OMEGA DYNAMIC Vintage Mens First Generation Cal. 565 Watch with Quick-Setting Date - Stainless Steel Gorgeous Original Condition - Interesting & Distinctive - 1 Year Warranty Created in 1967 by Omega's sales director Robert Forster, the Dynamic is an iconic example of a true retro style. The clean and functional watch, a considerable success for Omega, possessed a number of designed elements that made it stand out: An ellipse shape with recessed crown determined to be the best geometric shape for the wrist, determined after extensive study Unicoc case with hermetically sealed crystal water-resistant to a depth of 30m. Available with a stainless steel bracelet or easily interchangeable water-resistant Cor-fam straps According to an Omega advertisement at the time, "The shape of the Omega Dynamic was determined by the anatomy of your wrist; its dial by the workings of your eyes; it strap by the physiology of your skin." Today's offering showcases this first generation Dynamic in our gorgeous all-original condition. The first generation of the watch lasted only from 1968 until 1970. It has an awesome two-tone sector dial. As one of the early Dynamics, before Omega switched to using the 1000 series movements for the line, it is powered by Omega's high-grade caliber 565. Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs, was the top-tier offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and is arguably the finest mass-produced automatic movement from era. It is all-original and presents in gorgeous condition. Its case presents as mint. The stamping on the back is still perfectly crisp. Its fabulous two-tone Omega sector dial is original and untouched in mint condition.
