Description

Among watch collectors, the Omega Watch Co. of Switzerland, a firm founded by Louis Brandt of Biel in 1848, is one of the most renowned brands of timepieces. In 1894 a new caliber bore the name of Omega for the first time, and since then it has produced some of the finest caliber wristwatches money can buy. Omega is my favorite Swiss watch firm as well, combining those qualities of name brand recognition, high quality and relative value that are important to the seasoned watch collector.

You will be pleasantly surprised, and receive many compliments, when wearing your watch. There is nothing that draws attention quite like a stunning watch.
Because older vintage wristwatches were made smaller than watches made today, men or women can wear this and would look fabulous on your wrist.
A careful shopper who takes the time to study the photos, reads the entire description, and asks pertinent questions is our best customer.
Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting. This makes even the slightest imperfections, shadows during photography, and specks of dust appear much more prominent even though they are often not visible without magnification.

Vintage watches are generating more interest over the last several years. They are added to collections and are being worn. These vintage watches are a bargain when you consider the cost of producing a comparable watch with a high grade movement. This is a very nice example of a vintage watch which would make a interesting example for any collection or just be fun to wear as your personal timepiece.
Vintage watches may gain or lose a small amount of time per day as they do not keep quartz accuracy. Also, because most vintage watches being offered are between 30-70 years old, small imperfections, scratches, and wear are to be expected.
A Word About Mechanical Watches: All mechanical watches, whether manual or automatic wind, will need periodic servicing simply due to the friction of its moving parts.
All of our watches have been tested and serviced if needed. We time all watches for at least 24 hours prior to listing and 12 hours prior to shipment. If it doesn't maintain acceptable accuracy We won't ship it and the buyer will receive a refund.
Water resistance is not guaranteed on vintage or pre-owned wristwatches. Have seals and gaskets checked by a watchmaker before submerging in water, swimming, or showering.
It is my hope that all of my items will go to people who will enjoy and appreciate them. I will gladly accept a return/and or take care of a problem if I make a gross error in the description. If I have made no gross errors, the item is a final sale. This is merely due to the items being antiques, vintage, or pre-owned. Watches are sold as-is, and as described, with no warranty
