Description

Fresh from CMW21 service, and with Omega Extract of the Archives. Full three-year warranty.

Case by Central Watch Company, reference 2513-4, 80 micron, 14 karat gold shell case with bevelled bezel and polished lugs.

Silvery-white dial with gold dauphine luminous-fill hands and central sweep seconds. Dial with minute track and Calligraphy styled Arabic numerals at the quarters and arrowhead hour markers with luminous dots.

This watch just received a full service from a CMW21, and is keeping excellent time. What makes this a great rarity is the fact that this case was the only one ever manufactured that could carry either the 260 or 280 series Omega movements.

From the International collection, this model was launched in 1949 under the Omega reference DW2513, from which there were several variations. This example was sold domestically in Switzerland on 4 September 1951, and houses one of Omega'a lauded 30mm calibers inside a stunning and classic package. Comes on a brand new custom cork strap from Portugal.
