Description

This watch has been in our family since new, This was my Dads watch and he was an Omega watch dealer and repairman. He loved the under the wrist model when he play golf. This has been in the closet for many years and slows very little ware. There are minor scratches on the case a one on the case back. The center of the plastic crystal still has the OMEGA original water mark in the center, Dial is like new, all functions work fine. This is an original non refurbished model COMPARE this to any others listed and you will see the difference!!
Released in 1966, the Chronostop was equipped with all the bells whistles afforded to a top of the line sports watch of that era. With an extremely accurate 21,600 beats per hour running speed, shock resistance and internal magnetic protection, it immediately garnered the to the Top Prize in the prestigious Federation Horologer competition. Notably the Chronostop came equipped 17 jewel Omega 865 movement, same as the tech superior speed master model, without the 12 hour register, and anti magnetic dust cover, and was price at half the Speedmaster price. Only 124,000 made. It has become increasingly difficult to find one in all original condition. Experts believe this has become one of the best bargains among vintage watch collectors with prices to go up.
