Whether you use it for inspiration, information, or entertainment, Instagram certainly makes it difficult to put your smartphone down. Our authors regularly search the platform for the most interesting accounts – purely for research purposes, of course! With images of rare watches, the wardrobes of well-dressed gentlemen, timeless classic cars, and brilliant photography all around, we’ve discovered four accounts that are worthy of your attention.
Some Instagram profiles focus exclusively on vintage Submariners, Speedmasters, or other popular models. Lukasz’ profile, on the other hand, features a mix of watches from Cvstos, Patek Philippe, and even a red ceramic Hublot Hublot Big Bang. They are all great, but I personally think elegant vintage models are more aligned with this Polish watch journalist’s style. Lukasz has turned his passion into a career. He is Editor-in-Chief at @ch24pl, Poland’s largest watch platform. However, his account features more than just his stunning collection of timepieces. He also has an eye for architecture and classic cars. I appreciate the mix of lifestyle shots and watches. It gives me reason to visit his account beyond simply ogling his watches.

It seems that the more specialized an Instagram profile is, the more success it enjoys. Alan, better known as rolexdiver, has certainly taken this approach to heart. You know what you’ll get when you follow his account: nice images of a wide range of (mostly) modern Rolex watches. According to his bio, the Las Vegas-based Rolex enthusiast posts photos of his private collection. His was one of the first watch accounts that I stumbled across on Instagram. With some 208,000 followers, it is one of the larger profiles on the watch scene. Unlike other watch photographers, Alan doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of wrist shots. Instead, his page is filled with high-resolution close-ups (almost) exclusively of Rolex timepieces.
Kristian Haagen is a veteran in the watch business. This Danish collector was a step ahead of the rest of us when it came to social media and luxury watches. You won’t just find Royal Oaks, GMTs, and the other big names on his profile; he also features other stylish items like Red Wing boots, Rimowa luggage, and cargo pants. Kristian is constantly on the go – and constantly curating the best watch content. A highlight for me was watching him ride a longboard with a Patek Nautilus on his wrist. Kristian isn’t your typical watch collector, but his vintage watch knowledge is on point, as evidenced by his books Hashtags & Watches and numerous interviews. Moreover, his personal collection is impressive, to say the least. Familiar names include Daytona, Zeitwerk, and Nautilus, among many others.
The last account we’ll mention today focuses on a single brand, giving it the potential to gather a sizable Instagram following. Mr. Tudor lives in the Netherlands and showcases the Tudor Black Bay like no one else I’ve seen. If you search hashtags for the Black Bay or Tudor in general, chances are you’ll come across some of his photos. I found his profile that way when I was thinking of adding a Tudor Black Bay GMT to my collection. Instagram is perfect for gathering inspiration, seeing watches on a wrist, and figuring out whether a certain model really goes with your style. Thank goodness for profiles like this one! If I had to pick a favorite from Mr. Tudor’s collection, it would have to be his very first Tudor watch: a Snowflake Sub with a red bezel – what a dream!
