By Mustafa Cint When we talk about Czapek & Cie, we often think of their “Antarctique” collection – and rightly so. The extremely successful sports model from Czapek embodies the perfect symbiosis of sport and elegance. Numerous limited editions of this model line have been released in recent years, with Czapek never afraid to expand its range. During this year’s Geneva Watch Days, Czapek presented two more additions to the popular series: the Antarctique Flying Diamonds and Antarctique Polar Sky.
The Czapek & Cie Antarctique S Sincere Platinum Jubilee
The name says it all: The “S” in the model name stands for “slim,” indicating a smaller diameter than the original 40.5ßmm model. This special edition has a diameter of 38.5 mm and is powered by the automatic in-house caliber SHX5 with a 60-hour power reserve. This special edition is limited to 38 pieces.
The 38.5-mm case is created from a combination of gold and steel, while the bezel is made of yellow gold. Like all the models in this series, the watch has a sapphire crystal. The case back is given a special touch with the Sincere Fine Watches 70th anniversary logo, illustrating Czapek’s close ties to the Asian dealer. This limited edition is priced at approximately $38,800 and is available at all Sincere Fine Watches boutiques.
