As part of Gen-Z, my interest in watches has always been there, but initially, it was more of a style statement for me than a deep understanding of how they work. My passion for watches has grown considerably since joining Chrono24 in 2020. I began to delve more deeply into the fascinating world of watches, focusing less on the design aspect and more on the technical specifications. I learned a lot during that time, and developed a real appreciation for the precision and craftsmanship behind the watches and the industry. It was also what sparked my interest in indie brands and led me away from the conventional “top five” manufacturers to smaller, more passionate watchmakers.
