Description

28th of August, 2020/ Found a balance staff and winding stem (Finally!) so as per today, the balance staff was changed, and a new staff and winding stem later, the watch is performing much better than it did prior to this service/intervention.
Important to note, there are NO parts available, like a brand new balance wheel, so I have had to perform a delicate operation, in which case, it came off bettered. The watches' balance wheel, is still not in beat, there is a beat error of +5 to 6, but the time-keeping is excellent, and the big thing is, the huge errors I was getting on the scale were due to a bad balance staff, it was twisted and finally I sourced a balance staff from U.K. (Thanks a million Ian ! )
Well, here it is, the watch is ready. You must look after this watch, as it is a non shock proof watch, the balance wheel staff has some minute tolerances, like around 0,08 mm end shake, and small minor shocks won't break it... but a drop on a hard floor will most like damage it beyond repair. The watch is maintaining a healthy + 250-260 degrees in amplitude., as good as it gets.
