Jaeger LeCoultre Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm American Edition. Limited & numbered edition of only 349 pieces worldwide. This watch is #345/359. A re-edition of a 1959 LeCoultre model sold in the Americas only: The dial features the "Le-Coultre" brand name with "Deep Sea Alarm Automatic" in script text on the center rotating part of the dial. The case back boasts the same engraved motif as the original 1959 watch, featuring a frogman surrounded by bubbles. Case: Polished stainless steel case. Domed plexiglas (plastic) crystal. Bi-directional turning bezel with black aluminum bezel insert featuring hour markers with 4 vintage colored triangle indicators. Matte black dial. Silver dial flange. Polished hands, the hour & minute hands with vintage colored luminous fill. White printed hours & minutes/seconds tracks. • Alarm feature: • Set & wound via the crown at 2 o'clock. • Alarm time indicated via the vintage colored luminous triangle at the the center rotating disc of the dial. Strap: Fitted on an unworn, model specific, Jaeger LeCoultre original black calfskin strap with perforations & a patterned finish. Polished stainless steel tang buckle. The strap is brand new with its full wear lifespan remaining. Movement: powered by a Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 956, which beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 23 jewels, composed of 268 parts & has an power reserve of +/- 45 hours. Condition: In excellent condition. The watch completed a full factory service in late March 2021. The watch has not be worn since the service was completed. As part of the service JLC has polished/refinished the watch & fit the watch with a brand new model specific strap. NOTE: the plastic crystal is original to the case & has not been changed. The crystal is scratched & does show signs of wear, which is typical of plexiglas crystals. We would now be comfortable rating this watch at 95%+ condition. Delivered in its original box with the warranty certificate (completely blank, not dated nor stamped), original limited edition certificate & the original instruction manual. Included is a copy of the factory service letter & a JLC branded service pouch. 1 Year In-Store Pre-Owned Warranty While the watch is pre-owned, it is in excellent & close to new condition.
