Description
We are proud to present this stylish IWC Pilot`s Top Gun Chronograph Miramar Special Edition watch for sale.
The Pilots series of watches were designed in accordance with military specifications and nowadays have reached a cult status that few wristwatches attain. IWC’s first proper purpose-built pilots watch was produced in 1936 and followed up nearly a decade later with the MOD commissioned Mark X (the official start of the Mark series). The watch adhered to specific military requirements in terms of robustness and dial layout.
This version, the reference IW388002, comes in a polished 46mm black ceramic case with a matching polished bezel. The dial is khaki green colour with large vintage coloured luminous numeral indexes and dagger hands. The dial is finished off with a date aperture at 3 o’clock, central red bannering,twin chronograph sub-dials at 12/6 and is protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. It is powered by the automatic IWC calibre 89365 movement which is protected by a closed commemorative `Top Gun` caseback. The watch is completed with a matching khaki green textile strap with a classic stainless steel IWC pin buckle clasp.
Originally purchased in July 2014 and in mint condition, like new, this IWC comes with its original inner box, instruction booklet and international warranty card. This IWC is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC.
