Description

Nice example of IWC Tv Watch in white gold. This is a very iconic model made by the Swiss brand founded in 1868 in Schaffhausen and is offered in nice overall conditions. The stainless steel rectangular case has a hexagonal bezel, a screw-down back and a bracelet in white gold as well. The argentè satin finish composition with applied baton indexes and date at 3 o’clock is further embellished by the rare and always appreciated Khanjar logo. Emblazoned on Oman’s white, red, and green flag it is the national emblem: the Khanjar has been used in Oman since at least the 3rd millennium BCE, and even in the distant past, they appear to have fulfilled a ceremonial as well as practical purpose. It has became known in the recent years for being depicted on special watches directly commissioned by the Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said. When found on a wristwatch, the Khanjar automatically makes them extremely rare and are considered amongst the world’s most sought-after collectible pieces. The present wristwatch is one of the very few know with this symbol depicted in the dial and a piece not to be missed for collectors of Arabic wristwatches.

3. You will receive your certified watch including a digital certificate of authenticity

After successful certification, you can be sure that your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed with a digital Certificate of Authenticity and an authenticity guarantee. You can access the Certificate of Authenticity in your Chrono24 account after receiving the watch.

Chrono24 Buyer Protection provides complete security for your payment. If you buy from a professional dealer, we hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 14 days after you have received your watch. That way, your money is safe and secure until you're fully satisfied with the watch. Only then do we send the money to the dealer. Certified is our new certification service, where verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches purchased on our marketplace. We want to provide buyers of luxury watches on Chrono24 with a worry-free purchasing experience. After successful certification, you’ll receive a digital Certificate of Authenticity confirming the authenticity of your watch. In addition, all certified watches come with an authenticity guarantee. All Certified watches are comprehensively checked against specific criteria by a verified watchmaker. This is the only way we can guarantee the authenticity of your watch. The check includes the following:

Authenticity check: The authenticity of the watch is checked both inside and out. We also check to make sure the watch meets our definition of authenticity. See: How do we define authenticity?

Functionality check: We test the watch's complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See: How do we define authenticity?

Scope of delivery check: All additional items, such as the original box and papers (if included), are checked for completeness and conformity with the model reference.

Theft check: The watch's serial number is checked against leading stolen watch databases. This ensures that the watch hasn't been stolen or otherwise lost by its rightful owner.

According to our definition of authenticity, a watch is considered genuine if it is either in its original condition (as made by the manufacturer) or has no more than two non-original, non-branded replacement parts. Permitted aftermarket parts are: crown, bezel, hands, or pushers.

Based on our more than 20 years of experience in the watch industry, we believe that replacing a maximum of 2 essential parts with non-branded aftermarket parts does not affect the authenticity of a watch, as these play an important role in maintaining the functionality of watches. However, any aftermarket parts must be noted in the listing. In addition, the watchmakers will note any deviations from the original condition on the Certificate of Authenticity.

Customized or modified watches as well as non-authentic or counterfeit watches cannot be certified. More detailed information can be found in our information brochure: “Chrono24’s Definition of Authenticity.”

Each watchmaker working at our certification center has all the necessary qualifications and technical equipment available to certify watches from specific brands. If Chrono24 Certified is an optional add-on for a watch, the model can be certified by one of our watchmakers. Should any shortcomings arise during the certification process, we will of course assume responsibility in accordance with our authenticity guarantee. If, during certification, the watch is found to contain key replacement parts (e.g., different hands) that do not bear a brand name or logo, we will reach out to you.

You will then have three options:

1. You can accept the certification results and proceed with your purchase. Your watch will be shipped to you within 1-3 business days.

2. You can cancel your purchase. In this case, we will return the watch to the seller and issue a full refund of both the purchase price and the certification fee.

3. We can ask the seller to reduce the purchase price. If you agree to a lower price, we'll pay you the difference after delivery of the watch.

Our general return conditions apply to the return of Certified watches. If you buy from a professional dealer, you can exercise your legal right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the watch and you’ll receive your money back quickly and easily.
There is no legal right of withdrawal when buying from a private seller.

Watches marked Partner Certified have already been certified as authentic by a verified watchmaker working for the seller. Participating sellers are carefully selected by Chrono24 and adhere to our strict Partner Certified guidelines. The relevant watchmakers have been audited by us and found to have the necessary qualifications and resources available to certify watches.

With Chrono24 Certified, you have the option of booking certification for an additional charge.$249 In this case, the seller sends the watch to our certification center, where it is checked and certified by our in-house watchmakers.

There is no difference in the process or quality of certification between a Partner Certified or Chrono24 Certified watch. If you choose to add Chrono24 Certified, we will charge an additional fee of $249to cover the costs of insured shipping and certification by our in-house watchmakers. Although shipping costs vary depending on the delivery location, we charge a fixed amount for all buyers. Our watchmakers will send your watch directly to you after certification. After successful certification, you will receive a digital Certificate of Authenticity confirming the authenticity of your watch. In addition, you benefit from an authenticity guarantee. The Certificate of Authenticity contains information about the brand and model of the watch as well as the date of issue. The watch’s serial number, production year, reference number, and TC number are also shown on the certificate. If the watchmaker notices any deviations from the original condition with regard to authenticity or the replacement of individual parts during the check, these will also be noted. You have exclusive access to the Certificate of Authenticity after logging into your Chrono24 account.

Together with your certified watch, you will receive a digital Certificate of Authenticity including an authenticity guarantee. This guarantee is based on our definition of authenticity and is valid for 30 days from the certificate’s date of issue. If you find that your watch does not meet our definition of authenticity, please contact our support team. They will look into the matter immediately. Depending on the circumstances, we will either refund the full purchase price or replace the relevant part(s) so that the watch fully complies with our definition of authenticity.
