The 42.3mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs and rounded bezel are polished/brushed, and there is a date aperture window at 6 o'clock. The dial is silver with applied blued steel Arabic numeral hour markers, an outer minute track with dot divisions, and blued steel feuille hands. A constant seconds sub-dial with a stop function is at the 9 o'clock position, and the 7-day power reserve dial is at 3. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese 7 Day IW500107 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC Pellaton caliber 51011 movement that's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 42 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a Glucydur* beryllium alloy balance with high-precision adjustment cam on balance arms, and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring. There is a skeletonized bi-directional rotor with an 18K gold medallion inlay engraved "IWC -Probus Scafusia". The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz).
