IWC from 2006 has launched special editions of its Pilot's Watches in honor of the legendary pilot, poet and adventurer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. This special edition chronograph extends that tradition with a limited edition release of just 500 watches. An engraving of his last aircraft, the Lightning P-38, is embellished on the case back. The elaborate surface-finishing, featuring polished and silky-matte elements enhance the overall quality of the watch's appearance. This impression is underscored by sun-pattern finish on the dial. The handsome tobacco-colored dial and coordinating calfskin strap with its cream-colored quilted stitching make this watch an exquisite addition to the connoisseur's collection.
