Gorgeous Original Condition - Ingenieur Movement - 1 Year Warranty

The superior all-original IWC featured in today's offering is powered by the Albert Pellaton designed caliber 854B automatic movement.

This mechanism's automatic winding system is a technical masterpiece, earning it high praise - Gisbert Brunner and Christian Pfeiffer-Belli in their work, Wristwatches Armbanduhren Montres-bracelets, proclaimed the 85x series "one of the best automatic movements ever built in Switzerland."

And the famous watchmaker Donald de Carle, in his book Complicated Watches and their Repair, stated that IWC's special automatic winding mechanism was "a simple and ingenious system, well constructed and beautifully finished."

IWC built the movement of this watch in 1971 at the same they were building their famous Ingenieur line.

Its cool retro case is full size. It measures 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the size of Rolex Date and Datejust models.

It has all of its original parts and presents in gorgeous original condition - it presents as a 9.7 out of 10.

Its case presents as mint with only light signs of previous polishing. Its stunning untouched original silver dial is gorgeous mint.

Its movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is near pristine. Photos of the inside available upon request.

It winds very smoothly and is running strong and true, keeping time on par with a new IWC chronometer in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, it has been equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket IWC style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
