The watch is a very interesting piece by IWC - Aquatimer Chronograph Galapagos Islands ref. IW376705. It is a special Galapagos Islands limited edition that is made in partnership with the Galapagos-based Charles Darwin Foundation. IWC funds the Foundation with with a sizable contribution generated by proceeds from the sale of the watch and all those money go into educating visitors about the archipelago’s uniqueness & teaching sound ecological behavior. The foundation keeps watch to ensure that the waters are not plundered and that the animals do not fall victim to poachers or predators as well. The watch itself features a rather large 44 mm case (with the bezel it is even 45.5 mm) coated in special rubber polymer, that leaves the watch with a matt black finish, giving the watch a unique feel & look. The dial is black with bold applied index hour markers filled with blue luminescent material, the hands are polished blackened steel - the hour hand filled with blue luminescent & the minute hand is filled with green luminescent material. Comes on the original rubber strap with quick-change system. Case back engraved with the well-known Galapagos Giant Tortoise. Powered by the IWC cal. 79320 movement with an approximate power reserve of 44 hours. Our offering is in very good condition - only a few scratches visible only under magnification - looks super good to the naked eye. Full set - box & papers.

Covered by a limited warranty of 1 year, starting on the date of purchase. The cover of said warranty is limited to the function, continuous operation and fair timekeeping and it does not cover misuse, neglect, abuse, water damage or any other form of wearer-inflicted damage.
