Extremely rare vintage "cult" wrist chronograph with 45 min. counter and 12-hour scale on the rotating bezel. Originally this model was worn by the former us automobile racing driver and Formula 1 world champion Mario Andretti, so that this watch became known as the "Mario Andretti Autavia".

Mario Andretti received his Heuer Autavia wristwatch chronograph for setting the fastest lap in the qualifying round of the Indy 500 in 1966, and even then the watch attracted a lot of attention.
