Classic Ladies’ Watch From Saxony
Glashütte Original offers a range of elegant ladies' watches in the Lady Serenade collection. The current collection features watches with a classic round case and a diameter of 36 mm, available in polished stainless steel, rose gold, or a combination of the two. Some versions feature diamonds on the bezel – for extra sparkle.
The dial is another element that contributes to the timeless look of the Lady Serenade. Glashütte Original uses mainly mother-of-pearl here, shimmering in delicate shades of white or blue, depending on the model. If a sunburst finish is more your style, you can also choose from galvanized silver or blackened dials. Applied Roman numerals and bar indices serve as hour markers. On certain models, Glashütte Original replaces the bar indices with small diamonds set in gold.
The Lady Serenade is powered by the automatic in-house caliber 39-22 with a 40-hour power reserve. In addition to the central display for hours, minutes, and seconds, it also features a date at 6 o'clock. A sapphire crystal case back allows you to admire the finely decorated movement at work.
As a standard feature, Glashütte Original watches are delivered with an alligator or calfskin strap. However, the stainless steel and two-tone models are also available with a steel link bracelet.

How much does a Glashütte Original Lady Serenade cost?
A standard stainless steel model from the current collection is the most affordable entry into the Lady Serenade line. Unworn examples change hands on Chrono24 for as little as 5,300 USD. Two-tone versions with a stainless steel case and rose gold bezel cost around 7,850 USD. Both the stainless steel and the two-tone versions of the Lady Serenade are also available with a diamond-set bezel. Expend to spend between 9,600 and 10,500 USD on one of these models.
Versions made entirely of 18-karat rose gold are significantly more expensive. You should be prepared to spend approximately 12,500 USD for a watch without diamonds and approximately 18,300 USD for one with a diamond-set bezel.
Older and neo-vintage models of the Lady Serenade will set you back between 5,900 and 19,500 USD, depending on the features, materials, and condition.
Neo-Vintage Models of the Lady Serenade
Until a few years ago, Glashütte Original offered a variant of the Lady Serenade with a slightly cushion-shaped rectangular case. The 30 x 34 mm watch, known as the Lady Serenade Karree, is available in several versions. You have a choice of stainless steel or rose gold watches, with or without diamonds. The dials are made of mother-of-pearl, and silver, gold, or brown sunburst dials are also available. Arabic numerals or bar indices mark the hours.
The heart of the Lady Serenade Karree is the automatic in-house caliber 39-52, which offers a 40-hour power reserve.
Lady Serenade With Chronograph Function
Until recently, the collection also included a women’s watch known as the Lady Serenade Chronograph. The basic design is very similar to the current range. The biggest differences are the slightly larger 38-mm case and the eponymous chronograph function. The latter is provided by the automatic in-house caliber 39-34. The movement transforms the watch into a bicompax chronograph with a small seconds at the 3 o'clock position and a 30-minute counter at 9.
Like other timepieces in the Lady Serenade collection, the chronograph is comes in stainless steel or rose gold. Models set with diamonds are also available. There is a choice of mother-of-pearl, silver, or black dials.
