Glashütte Original Lady

Glashütte Original offers a range of interesting watch creations for the discerning woman. These include the Pavonina, the Ladies Serenade, the Serenade Luna, and the PanoMatic Luna.

All of these models share a feminine design with bright colors and playful details. At the same time, these watches have a classic, elegant look that lends them a timeless chic.

The cases measure between 31 and 39.4 mm, depending on the model line, and are available in stainless steel or 18-karat gold. Some collections include two-tone versions in gold and steel. Precious gemstones like diamonds are also often found on the bezels, lugs, and dials of these timepieces.

Glashütte Original equips most of the watches in its Ladies collections with automatic in-house calibers. Occasionally, however, quartz movements are also used.

Prices for watches in the Glashütte Original Ladies’ collection start at around $4,500 USD. In this price range, you’ll find simple two and three-hand stainless steel Pavonina and Lady Serenade models, for example. A comparable two-tone variant will set you back between 6,200 and 7,900 USD.

If you’d prefer a watch with a moon phase display and/or diamond setting, the prices climb to around 9,500 to 15,700 USD.

Top models in the Ladies collection are made of gold and embellished with precious gems. Prices here range from around 11,200 to 29,100 USD, depending on the model.

The Lady Serenade is one of Glashütte Original’s most popular ladies’ watches. These timepieces measure 36 mm in diameter and feature gently curved lugs and a crown set with a sapphire cabochon. The dials are for the most part made of mother-of-pearl. However, some models feature a black or silver sunburst dial. Applied Roman numerals or diamonds serve as hour markers. Many models feature a diamond-studded bezel as well.

Glashütte Original equips the Lady Serenade with the automatic in-house caliber 39-22, which has a frequency of 28,800 vph and a 40-hour power reserve. The movement also offers a date display at 6 o'clock.

The Lady Serenade is available in stainless steel, rose gold, and two-tone versions. You can wear your Lady Serenade on a stainless steel bracelet or leather strap.

The Serenade Luna is all about the Moon. The case design is strongly inspired by the Lady Serenade, but with a diameter of 32.5 mm, it’s a bit more delicate than its larger counterpart. Models come in stainless steel or rose gold.

The Serenade Luna’s most striking feature is its moon phase display at 6 o'clock. The crown is adorned with a moonstone cabochon. The dials are slightly stepped, and available in mother-of-pearl or with a gold or dark blue sunburst finish. Brilliant-cut diamonds set in white or rose gold mark the hours.

The Serenade Luna also features automatic in-house calibers. Here, it’s the brand’s caliber 35-14 with a 60-hour power reserve.

The PanoMatic Luna is the ladies’ version of the popular PanoMaticLunar men's watch. Both watches are almost identical in construction and differ only in minor details. Both have an asymmetrical dial layout with subdials for hours and minutes and for small seconds at 10 and 8 o'clock respectively, a moon phase at 2, and a panorama date at 4. Both watches are powered by movements from Glashütte Original’s caliber 90 family, each of which offers a power reserve of almost 42 hours.

In spite of their many similarities, the two timepieces can be distinguished at a glance. At 39.4 mm, the case of the PanoMatic Luna is 0.6 mm smaller than that of the men's version. The watch is also more feminine in terms of design. This is reflected above all in the watch’s mother-of-pearl dials, which shimmer in delicate shades of silver, blue, or anthracite. The PanoMatic Luna also features diamond indices. The bezel is also decorated with diamonds. Another striking feature is the panorama date window, which has an oval shape.

The watch is worn on a Louisiana alligator leather or rubber strap with floral patterns that match the color of the dial and ensure a secure fit on the wrist.

When designing the watches in its Pavonina collection, Glashütte Original was inspired by timepieces from the 1920s. The case has a square cushion shape and is equipped with movable lugs. The dials, on the other hand, have a classic round design and are often made of mother-of-pearl. Depending on the model, brilliant-cut diamonds or applied Roman numerals serve as hour markers.

In addition to stainless steel models, you can choose from rose gold, white gold, and two-tone versions. You also have a choice of variants with and without diamonds.

The Pavonina is powered by precise quartz calibers. These are also finished with decorative cuts and feature electronic fine adjustment.
