Description

You are looking at a beautiful piece of horological history: a solid 18K chronograph by Eberhard & Co. from around the 1910s.
It is one of the first wrist chronograph watch ever made. Eberhard and Montbrillant (legacy Breitling) were the first to make these large, approximately 40mm diameter single button chronograph watches around the time of WWI, using Montbrillant base movements.
The overall cosmetic condition of the watch is very good, including the original dial. It looks like it has been professionally cleaned and serviced a while ago and has not been worn since. The watch is working, including the chronograph functions, but there are no guarantees for future mechanical performance. The watch will come on a high-grade Camille Fournet band, as pictured.
An extremely rare and cool timepiece that looks as good on the wrist as it did a hundred years ago.
When an item is shipped from the US, buyers outside of the United States are responsible for any and all customs and import fees in their home countries.
