Upon receiving the watch, I took it to a Swiss watch specialist who informed me that in their opinion the watch was not genuine. I returned the watch which required a complex customs declaration and payment for the return postage and insurance. Chrono24 have said they will reimburse the return shipping and insurance costs. I had problems with US customs and understand (according to the local DHL agent) that the dealer had not be helpful in this return process. Chrono’s buyer protection did work and my money for the watch has been refunded. Chrono’s support during this process has been good.

I had purchased this watch from one of my "newer" suppliers. At the time of purchase, I did not realize that the watch was not authentic. So, when I received the watch back as a return for not being genuine, I returned it to the supplier who, without hesitation, refunded my money. Needless to say, they will no linger be a trusted supplier. My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

manual wind movements need to be fully wound by turning the crown clockwise approximately 30-35 turns until it stops turning. Thereafter, it should stay running for about 30-35 hours.
