I will start by saying this long-established dealer, who has many lovely vintage watches for sale, was communicative throughout and agreed to take the watch back without fuss. However, there was a delay in sending the watch as the dealer confirmed it was not keeping accurate time. Sadly, when I received the watch, this was still very much a problem, which he blamed on potential damage in shipping. Given it was very well packaged, I think this unlikely. I also believe the numbers on this 1920s dial had been repainted, although the dealer insisted this was not the case. I also could not find the 583 gold markings. I did not feel, overall, this particular watch was as described and I was disappointed to see it immediately re-advertised when I sent it back. I took the watch to a professional repairer before return who said it was unstable and needed a service overhaul. The dealer should be doing this, at least, before re-advertising the watch. Sadly, my least positive Chrono24 experience. I perfectly understand as a vintage watch collector that vintage watches can/will have problems, but the dealer could have done more to accurately describe it, and if the watch cannot keep to within 5/6 minutes of accurate time over a 24-hour period, it is not a saleable watch. I therefore, on balance, and reluctantly, have to say I would not try buying another watch from this dealer.

Es tut uns leid, dass Sie nicht zufrieden waren. Zu Ihren Anmerkungen: "...mögliche Transportschäden zurückführte. Da es sehr gut verpackt war, halte ich das für unwahrscheinlich...." Auch wenn Sie das für unwahrscheinlich halten, ist dies die einzige mögliche Ursache, da die Uhr vor dem Versand perfekt lief (+-3min pro Tag), wie wir Ihnen auch mitgeteilt haben. "...Auch die Markierungen aus 583er Gold konnte ich nicht finden...." Die Uhr wurde auf einem Röntgengerät auf 583er Gold analysiert - es steht nirgends, dass eine Punze vorhanden ist. "...Insgesamt hatte ich nicht das Gefühl, dass diese bestimmte Uhr der Beschreibung entsprach..." Die Uhr entsprach und bespricht der Beschreibung. Ihr Gefühl spielt dabei keine Rolle. "... Daher muss ich unterm Strich und widerwillig sagen, dass ich nicht versuchen würde, bei diesem Händler eine weitere Uhr zu kaufen..." Wir würden uns dann auch an diesen Satz anschließen und nicht empfehlen an diesen Kunden zu verkaufen. Wir wünschen Trotzdem alles Gute.
